Montana!! Part 2

Glacier Park Day!!

 We had a great day in Glacier National Park! We got to ride TWO buses to the top of the Going-to-the-Sun-Road. I thought Lily would be in heaven! Not so much. We were one LOUD shuttle going to the top! Here's KK keeping herself busy while waiting for the bus.

 At the top of Logan Pass! Oh I forgot...THIS was KK's favorite because she got to pick out a little stuffed grizzly who she immediately named Pipsqueak. We also got National Park Passports for the littles, and got two cancellations for each kiddo!

 Loading the shuttle back down. Luckily, all three of the kids fell asleep so it was a nice quiet ride back down.

 After refreshing naps, the kiddos were ready to hit Lake MacDonald for a picnic and swim!

And then it was the big day...Cooper's birthday!! We snuck down to the lake with the early risers for a 6am photoshoot. (Not pictured: Lily: "Mooooommyyyy! I need a jaaaaacket!")

 Back in Aunt Mary's kitchen, everyone is busy making cupcakes and pancakes.

 We snuck in a little hike on the new Whitefish Trail. Extra little for the Friesens. Lily eventually decided she was going to hike...

...and then passed out.

 
 Back to the house to make frosting!

 And we are ready to party!

 Special huckleberry birthday cake for the special Montana birthday!

 These two don't need any help in the cake eating department...

Happy Birthday, Cooper!!

There is so much more that I didn't include here, like lots of swimming at lots of beaches, lots of early morning fun (these kids liked to get up EARLY while we were away), the fun of having 4 adults and 3 kids under 4 in one big bedroom (thanks for giving up your room Uncle Ron!), lots of good food, a farmer's market, lots of hikes around the neighborhood...
