Rachel and Coopster

Rachel and Coopie wore their most responsible looking outfits to court yesterday. And they were in my favorite studio (my bed) during the day, so of course they didn't escape without getting their picture taken!

Since we both took the day off work, we made the most of it! We had a relaxing morning getting dressed, hit Starbucks, and had a lovely lunch out before our court appointment. We even got to go out and get a drink last night like real adults! Whoo!

Cuteness - 21 months old

Dinner with my goofy girl!!

Sorry about the "see food!" Haha!
When daddy's away........

She is getting some actual air on her jumps these days!

Check out this adorable project from school!! Portlandians, the cuteness is headed your way next week!

In other news, Lily is using the potty 3-4 times a day now! She is very proud of herself. It's very exciting. We would sure love to use fewer diapers around here. Jason says he's tired of spending money on her butt!! Haha. Now we have to save our money for the water bill after 1 million flushes and 18 hours/day of handwashing.......

A quiet moment with baby...

We've had some dark, dreary, late fall days recently. We tried to take advantage of some lovely light while we had it today!

In other news, Lily has recently become a potty peeing champ! Day care says "send pull-ups!" I guess we are potty training? Or at least we have a window of interest for sure....

Grandpa's 90th birthday!

We just got home from a great weekend trip to California to help Grandpa celebrate his 90th birthday. How lucky are all of us to be a part of such an amazing event? Especially for the kiddos to get to be there with their Great-Grandpa and spend time with aunts, uncles, and cousins and adopted "family" from the Gedney/Oberg family. We are so thankful!

This was Lily's first time on a plane! After lots of research (mostly chatting with other teacher-moms at school) I had a plethora or activities to keep this toddler busy.

2 cups and one ice cube:
  New Playmobile airplane!
 Post its and tape.
Stickers. Lots and lots of stickers.

 New sippy cup!

And of course, kicking the seat in front of you!
Just as we were beginning to descend, she passed out. Of course!
We finally made it to Grandpa's house! We of course had to get an organ tutorial.
And snuggles. Cooper meeting Grandpa for the first time!
The fall Cali weather was lovely for these Seattle-ites who are already seeing frosty mornings. The girls blew off some steam in the front yard.

And Coopie enjoyed getting passed between Uncle Chuck and Aunt Cathie.
Lovely night for a fall walk!

I think Lily is jealous of Grandpa's new birthday gift.
Kenley and Lily loved so much together time all weekend. Lily even started saying "Kenley" instead of "KK" or the previous "MaMy." This is Lily saying first thing in the morning, "Kenley? Baff?"
Coopie and Lily chillin' at the hotel.

I may have instigated some bed jumping with KK....
We hit the road on Sunday morning for some sight-seeing in the big city! I need to work on my out-of-the-minivan-window shots, haha! But you get the idea...
 Streetcar!
  The view from mid-Lombard Street.
 Mmmmmm.

Morning on the waterfront.
It's never too early for a hot fudge sundae at Ghiradelli's! Or a clam chowder breadbowl. :)

We headed back to Grandpa's in time for the big event, Grandpa's 90th birthday party!

Two girls in the ultimate playground (I mean rented minivan!).

The next morning it was time to head home. We all piled back on the airplane and headed home.

Thank you Grandpa, Cathie, and Chuck for having us! It was a great visit!
