We took the girls to see "Sesame Street Live!" this morning. It was Lily's first live show! We were curious to see how it would go, and she did great! She was excited to see some of her favorite characters (she's never actually seen the show, but she's read the books!), and did great in the first half. In the 2nd half she just stood up and decided to peace out. Kenley was stoked to see the "real" Elmo, and clutched stuffed Elmo the entire time (thanks for the apparently long-term loan, Thomas girls!). Coop used his new clapping skills and then took a nap.
Lily says, "I see the show. I see Cookie Monster!"
Not pictured: two identical Elmo balloons that we had to have (along with every other toddler in the place when the balloon seller with the biggest bunch of balloons you've ever seen showed up right in front of the stage at the end of the first half!) We had a great time!
