Lily and I have been lucky to hook up with a great group of mommas and adorable winter babies through a mish-mash of all the groups we've been going to...PEPS, Snugglers, and Hypnobirthing! This week we all met up for the Redhook Brewery Tour and happy hour on Monday, and a hike at Farrel McWhirter Park on Thursday. Even better, we have a big list of activities to plan for future outings!
This week was Kenley's Spring Break, and Lily and I got to spend lots of quality time with her while she is on vacation. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of pictures...toddler + infant = no hands left for large camera. But we had lots of fun! We went to the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett with Papa, and got to meet Rachel for lunch. Here's us hiking at Farrel McWhirter with baby friends. Well, only one of us is hiking!! And one of us is having a fit about riding a pony...... It's been a long time since I saw the opening showing of a movie, but KK and LJ and I did it on Friday! We saw Chimpanzees at 10am, and we didn't even have to wait in line all night to get tickets. We also played, sang songs, and read lots of books. Kenley is very loving and helpful with Lily. Whenever we see someone else's baby, she runs over to her baby cousin, snuggles her, and squeaks at her.
On Saturday we met up with Justin, Jack, and Kaden and headed to Lily's first rock concert...Caspar Babypants! (AKA the lead singer of the Presidents of the United States of America!) It was right down the street at our local bookstore, and that place was packed with Pants fans!
With PEPS friends...it's Lily and Wes' first concert!
The Pants himself! He even signed Lily's new CD. :) And complemented her "traditional spelling."
On Sunday we got a drive by visit from the Thomas'!
