This week we lost our beloved Grandma Cay. Grandma and I were both so hoping that she would be able to meet the baby before she went, but in the end they missed each other by just a month. We are thankful that we got to spend some time together in December on
this trip, and that we also got to have visits in Cali in
January and in Seattle in
February.

Jason and I decided 35 1/2 weeks pregnant is not a great time to travel, so we'll be staying home while Dad and Rachel head down today to meet Mom, Grandpa, Cathie, and Chuck for services. We'll be thinking of the fam, and all our special memories with Grandma!
