Cabo - Sunset at the Beach

We loved going down to the beach at sunset! Dawn and I took the opportunity to take about a zillion photos. I'd been dying to get to the beach to try out some of the things I've been learning about (golden hour, silhouettes, etc).

Elliott loved all the birds at the beach, by the pool, and around the resort. One of his growing collection of signs is "bird." He was in heaven!

 This is the moment of The Big Wave. Just after this, a sneaker wave came up and soaked Jason up to his waist! They ran while I scrambled and gathered all our stuff off the beach. Lily was NOT happy and talked non-stop about the big waves after that. When we were putting her to bed she was saying "big wave, exciting exciting, my feet!, big waves, scary, Lily cried, big wave..." She even woke up in the middle of the night and said, "big wave!" Hopefully we haven't scarred her for life!

We went back the next night. Still no luck getting close to the "big waves." There is not better place to be at sunset!

There are cuter versions of this on the Abbott's camera. Too bad we don't have any, because that was WAYYY to close to the big waves for our family.

At least someone was enjoying the beach!

 Sunset on our last night in Cabo! Lily's hair agreed with the salty air.
