Mid-Winter Break Day Trip!

We have been on vacation all week, and it is glorious!! We have been using the time to play play play play with Lily, catch up on projects at home, see friends and have playdates, and SLEEP! The weather has been disgusting, but we refused to let that put a damper on our fun. One of our highlights was a quick day trip to Bainbridge Island on Tuesday. It was POURING rain but we still had fun. We got to ride a ferry, went to the KiDiMu Children's Museum, had lunch at this adorable local cafe, and checked out a little local toy store. 

It's just a little rainy outside......but luckily Lily can entertain herself for house in the car! Waiting for the ferry...

 A little road trip entertainment...

We're finally on the ferry!! We had the outdoor decks all to ourselves. Haha!

 Lily kept asking to see the boat. "No water, no water!" Silly girl, we are ON the boat!

 We loved this adorable little children's museum, KiDiMu! It was just perfect for Lily. She loved the treehouse at the entrance, and kept going back to it to climb higher and higher on this ladder! She finally made it to the top, but never would go down the big slide. We also loved the upstairs, which was a ton of different ball rolling activities!

 On the way home, the sun came out and it was beautiful by the time we got home!
