We accidentally took Lily to her first Husky game yesterday!
We woke up in the morning and decided we were totally missing out, since tons of our friends were already down at the stadium tailgating. So we headed down, planning to just come home and watch the game.
We found the alumni band right away. Lily likes hearing the band, but apparently not from TOO close.
We met up with Katie and Scotty to celebrate K's bday!
Then we found Mary, and she hooked us up with a pair of tickets! Sweet! And they were good seats! It was perfect. An actual 12:00 kickoff, perfect weather, a Husky blowout... Lily loved seeing the airplanes and boats from the stadium, she liked hearing the band and the spontaneous clapping by the fans. With all that and a hot dog we managed to keep her entertained until halftime. Then we headed home!
