Back to School

We can't believe 3 weeks of school have already flown by!

It seems like just yesterday we were helping Jason set up his classroom and taking this cute pic of Lily in his partner's classroom...
Then the next day we were dropping Lily off at her new school! She's in the "Young Toddler" room now, which is on campus at my school! It is so special and lucky to have her right there. She is in the smaller group, and there are only 5 kids in her "class" right now (with one teacher).
Here she is on the first day! This place is awesome! They have a whole tub of keys and phones. Sweeet!! Lily also loves the tiny furniture.

And they have a SLIDE in the middle of the room! Best ever.

Reunited with old friends from the infant room!
Lily loves to play outside at school. I snapped this of her before she noticed I was there to pick her up. :)

They have been doing all kinds of art at school! It's so adorable! We already got to bring home a pile of precious pieces, and must find a way to display them asap.

Jason and I also had great first days. Years 9 and 2 are off to good starts.
This is posted in Jason's school right now. If kids raise $100, they can dunk Mr. F in the dunk tank at the school fundraiser!!
We celebrate a long first week with Jason's staff at the back to school BBQ. Lily's outfit was a hit.
And now school is rolling! Lily quickly got the idea that Mommy leaves her in the morning. She hasn't cried EVERY day... Some mornings she comes to play in my classroom with me for a little while until we are ready to head to her school. She climbs the stairs and yells "I'M HIGH!" She likes to play with the other kids, and is beginning to say the names of some of her classmates. And she LOVES to play on the big kid playground, and tries to book it over there whenever she gets a window of opportunity. We had an actual lock down (we were safe the whole time), and it was after school so I got to go lock down with Lily and the toddlers. All three of us are able to carpool most days!
