Camping - Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great time camping at our favorite spot in La Conner! Kenley was so excited about her first camping trip. She couldn't wait to pour water on the fire and hear it sizzle, make s'mores, and sleep in a tent. Lily wants to be outside all.the.time now, so she was pumped about camping, too. We lucked out with some great weather all day on Saturday, and woke up to downpour on Sunday. A week later, we finally had all our gear dry enough to pack up! We also had some great visitors: Nan and Ron came for the nice part of the day, and Geoff and Kim came over with brand new baby W.

Lily liked helping Daddy. This was right before he totally smashed his finger.

She loved her Husky chair! Though after surveying all the other chairs, she was a little miffed that hers doesn't have a cupholder.

The next morning it was raining so hard we had to move to a covered area to cook breakfast. But we still got to eat our Campurritos (our new favorite camping food! Check out the recipe here)!
